Here's one of my favorite Chinese songs of all time- I'm Not F4. It's Vic Zhou's addressing he's not F4 suggesting that he has changed his image for the better. Besides it's one cool song that I believe beats all my favorite Tokusatsu songs. He's not F4, he's the new man!

If I Made a Mulan TV Series...

I had a mind boggling thought for a Mulan TV series. It's just me. Ha ha. So here's who I'll cast as who...

Esther Liu can act as the heroine Hua Mulan. Seeing her with the short hair look, I kinda thought she will do well for the part. She's not just hot, he's also kick-ass. It'd be fun to see her as Mulan more than Liu Yi Fei or Zhao Wei. I think she and Zhang Zi Yi kinda look alike so she's definitely IN for Mulan.

I'd be picking Vic Zhou for the role of her eventual love interest General Wei Tai. He's been able to perform Black and White rather well so why not as Mulan's love interest? Wallace Huo seems to be a good choice but, I say Vic Zhou rules for General Wei Tai!

The rest? Well shout out yer opinions!

Although it's been quite some time since she got widowed without children (poor her) but this photo looks stunning for an aging lady. Well I think it's really a shame she hasn't acted as a parent to any F4 member. For any new project Vic Zhou may get, I recommend her to be the mother regardless whether antagonistic or not. I do say, she's still one of my favorite actresses!

Mayor of Dalian presented the Annual Asia Popularity Award to Taiwan idol Jerry Yan.

Gigi Leung and Karen Mok Morris, two actresses I've been a fan of for some time. Now they've tied the knots. They're both married to white partners. Hmmm... in the past we also had Emil Chau and Bruce Lee who are married to white partners too. Here are their photos:

Gigi Leung is 35 years old in getting married. Honestly, kinda late for a woman. But hope she has her child soon! They'll be tying the knots in Spain.

Karen Morris at 41... I fear she'll have a hard time conceiving a child. It'll take an Ursula Andress type of miracle to sire a first child at this age. They married in Italy.

By the way it looks like, Vic Zhou is pretty busy. So he's already filmed Hui Jia (or Home) with Janine Zhang. Yet he also has other projects with Vivian Hsu (not her... ugh) named Cohabiting with Fashion, after he wraps up the movie he will be with Ella Chen for the movie Destiny's Pair. His last project for the year is called Yang's Clan. Like an emperor of a nation, he's really on a rush schedule. Three movies? Very rush. What series will he be filming next? Hmmm... it looks like he's on the serious side now.

Last year, when Join Tsai was invited to visit her fan Tseng Ying-Chi who contracted muscle dystrophy, his condition was already at its worst.

A video which was secretly pre-recorded to comfort Ying-Chi's parents was played at his memorial service a few days ago.

In the video, Jolin choked back on tears and said, "No matter what happened, I think that as Ying-Chi's parents, the both of you have been very brave.

"Although the both of you were always tough in front of him, I know you must be hurting deep within. I am really worried for the both of you."

Touched by the message from Jolin, Ying-Chi's parents burst into tears at the memorial service. Jolin, who was already on the verge of tears in the video, added, "I hope that the both of you will continue to live on with that bravery."

It was reported that the video clip was filmed and edited by documentary director Xu Feng Ming, and it was director Xu who arranged for Jolin to meet up with Ying-Chi through a friend.

After learning of Ying-Chi's deteriorating condition and his heartbroken parents, director Xu who was filming a documentary on children with muscle dystrophy at the time, secretly asked Jolin to record said message, in hope that it'll motivate Ying-Chi's parents to live on after his passing.

The video has since been posted online and is said to have touched many of Jolin's fans.

Wallace Huo's Comedic Part in Love at First Fight

In contrast to Wallace Huo being a serious guy but he does show some amazing flexibility aside from improving his fighting from average to convincing, he does show some more talent in acting the stupid sidekick Li Sha You in Love at First Fight who is also Wu Shi Lang's love interest (portrayed by Miriam Yeung). Actually he does it well to play as a bumbling sidekick to matures throughout the series proving that even if he's not the best, there's always room for improvement. His funny interaction with most of the characters was just a charm to prove that while he does serious parts, he's not all that serious after all.

Vic Zhou's drama "Home" is a multiple language movie which features Hokkien, Niponggo and Mandarin. Hmmm what a production!

The first one features Janine Zhang's side where we hear Mandarin and Hokkien.

This second one features Vic Zhou speaking in the Taiwanese dialect.

The third one features both Japanese and Mandarin.

I have read that Mona Feng (pictured above) will return to the film industry now at her old age. Hmmm... I guess she's just kind of bored. Oh yeah, she's one of the favorites of the 70s together with Carrie Ku Mei, Ivy Ling Po and Chin Han to name a few. By the way, I'm a fan of her music.
