My View on the Actresses Who Played as The Witches in Brilliant Legacy
Brilliant Legacy from all the Korean dramas I've seen have the MOST witches I can name despite the fact the show wasn't exactly a tear-jerker. However I can see that these four actresses do have their own impact in acting out the witch characters.
Kim Mi Suk as Evil Stepmother Baek Sung Hee- She shows her flexibility with an evil stepmother who can learn to hide her evil nature, however I don't think she's as great as Lee Hwi Hyang though.
Moon Chae Won as Yoo Seung Mi- She is the subtle version of Cinderella's stepsisters fused into one. However she doesn't really act so well for me. I mean, you can tell she's been lying because the script isn't so well acted. However good thing she doesn't overact.
Yoo Ji In as Ou Young Ran- The actress manages to act as the irresponsible housewife rather well. Also, the scenes that involve her and Kim Mi Suk as friends is just awesomeness as the two witches really work together. In fact, she can act out a frustrated lazy housewife well during the time her mother-in-law forces her to work in the factory for spending the money so recklessly and later turns her into a housemaid to put her into real good use to how a housewife should be. Perhaps my favorite performance of hers as when Ou Young Ran teamed up with Baek Sung Hee to get rid of Go Eun Sung and how she becomes the ultimate obstacle against her son Sun Woo Hwan's improvement as she continues to lie to him as he progresses. However she mellows down when she and Butler Pyo begin to fall for each other.
Han Ye Won as Sun Woo Jung- I think the actress is just well... overacting. I didn't like her performance at all.
