Remembering Takeshi Kaneshiro

So far Takeshi Jin Kaneshiro that half-Japanese, half-Chinese actor is for me one of the most classic actors to ever be in my list of favorite actors. I even like him better than the members of the idol group F4 for these reasons- he plays Japanese and Chinese shows, he has bad-ass action moves and he can be dramatic if need be like he was in one of his series Precious Time. Also should I mention he can also speak good English too? It's in fact rare for most Chinese to speak it fluently due to cultural barriers and biases except those residing in English speaking areas.

However he was more popular when it came to Chinese films than Japanese films. Why? Well for starters, Mandarin has become a more spoken language than Niponggo and it's been envisioned that it will be the top language for Asia that even Japanese folks want to learn the language badly. Also, Chinese films I have to say have better fight choreography which of course I think he likes it there better because he can kick ass more there than in his father's homeland of Japan which can also be evidenced in the House of Flying Daggers and in Red Cliff I and II.
