Villain Actor Kenichi Endo

No, he's not that Filipino-Chinese oligarch, he is that villain actor...

Kenichi Endo... for a Tokusatsu fan, one may have the words "Junior" in Kakuranger though he only lasted for eighteen episodes.  My only wild guess behind why Junior was killed off in Kakuranger was perhaps that, the actor himself chose to left the set.  I thought like Daisuke Tachi who acted as Radiguet in Jetman, I wish he had bigger roles in Tokusatsu but he may not have lasted long if he stayed longer in Kakuranger.  He did return in Tokusatsu for the Dekaranger movie but that was just it.  Perhaps he still has Toku in his heart, maybe his family watches Toku but he feels like he doesn't want to be that involved in Toku.

Wow he's got to be very scary!!!!

I remembered the first time I saw him was in Janperson which made me think he looks like Filipino-Chinese businessman and oligarch Lucio Tan.  The whole Janperson role was just a guest role of him working as a comedic thug for Reiko who was acted by Toku legend Atsuko Takahata (who has placed some rather nice roles lately) who is known for fierce villainous roles.  In Kakuranger, he does bring nightmare fuel which I thought, too bad he decided to leave the set.  But he decided to leave the whole set for personal reasons we will never know except if he really tells us why.  Later on, he appeared in the Dekaranger movie with his gang based on liquor and Lucio Tan runs Asia Brewery... coincidence anyone?

Personally, I wish he will appear in a Hong Kong movie as a villain like let's say a Japanese Yakuza.  Some Japan actors have been into Hong Kong films and didn't know Mandarin or Cantonese that well, so I don't see any reason why Kenichi Endo shouldn't be there!
