No Surprise: Kim Tae Hee Turned Heads Even Back In College

I confess that I did get into Korean drama series for Kim Tae Hee. Yes, for her, and I remembered watching Forbidden Love and Love Story in Harvard FOR HER.  Yup, it was that dumb reason and I was in college too. Okay, she's five years older than I am so she should be 41 but still looking pretty. Now, it turns out that Tae Hee herself already had her popularity for the pretty face. No surprise that she turned heads back when she was in college.

Here's what's said about Tae Hee's popularity:

Former TV announcer Lee Hye-seong shared that a great number of male students lined up to see actress Kim Tae-hee at a university waffle shop back at when she was a student.

On July 27, Lee Hye-seong uploaded a new video on YouTube.

The video showed Lee Hye-seong touring around her alma mater Seoul National University, which is also Kim Tae-hee's alma mater.

Lee Hye-seong majored in Economics, and Kim Tae-hee studied Textiles, Merchandising and Fashion Design at Seoul National University.

While visiting the economics department, Lee Hye-seong pointed at a coffee shop and said, "This coffee shop is known for their waffles."

She continued, "Kim Tae-hee apparently used to really like the waffles here too. The economics department is right next to the human ecology building where Kim Tae-hee used to study."

She added, "Whenever Kim Tae-hee came to have some waffles, so many male students lined up to see her."

Previously, actress Lee Hanee, who attended Seoul National University with Kim Tae-hee also shared the actress' popularity in college.

At that time, Lee Hanee said, "Kim Tae-hee was like a goddess at our university. Lots of people would gather around her even when she was simply walking around the campus."

She continued, "When Kim Tae-hee walked into a lecture room, everyone in front of her would part ways for her and I would protect her like her bodyguard. Her popularity was beyond imagination."

I just had a look at these old-style photos which were most likely developed via negative. Okay, this would be in the early 2000s so I think digital cameras weren't the thing yet. I confess that while she's pretty and pleasant - her sex appeal is really quite flat. Yes, it seems rather common among Korean women to be flat. She already had a lot of fanboys BEFORE she even got into the show business.

Well, 2017 finally came and I'd be lying to say there weren't fanboy hearts that were broken. I guess Rain became the envy of many men the moment she said "I do." to him. Fortunately, she and Rain are still together and now have two daughters together.
